Restoring shed

It's been fun watching the old Ancich shed restoration. This piece of property is now a city park and there will be easy access for kayakers, plus a viewing platform with storage beneath. It has cost the taxpayers a gazillion dollars and probably not the best use for this piece of waterfront. Our hope is that there will eventually be a pier going out with moorage for our local fishermen.

Steeple chase

I love watching the steeple on the church when I am at my kitchen sink. Each day, hour, minute, it's different, depending on the time of day and year.

Sailing at high tide

The tide was extremely high the other morning and this small sailboat was doing all it could to get out of the harbor in a no wind situation. I must say, we do live in a beautiful place.

Christmas 2017

Here we are, another year has passed and there are 5 little ones posing for us. It looks like this is it in the grandchild department. Oh how blessed I am.

Ship pilot

One of my favorite things to watch when cruising is the ship pilot getting on and off the cruise ship.
