Walking in Pinks
Granddaughter is fishing with her dad again this summer. Last year it was in Southeast Alaska, this year they are fishing in Prince William Sound. They catch the lowly pink salmon, which are mainly canned, but also made into salmon burgers. Oh boy, are they ever delicious.

St. Nicks
I have been a member of St. Nicks since I was young. The original church is still standing and this is the second . It was meant to be a gymnasium for the school, once built, but almost 60 years have passed and we are still there....with new icons on the altar, painted by a local artist. So far, there is a school and a covered play facility. It seems money is always the object.

Blessing Of The Fleet 2019
It was a beautiful day for the blessing and the blessers used squirt guns to bridge the distance between boats.

Winter flowers
I put the fake tulips on the porch and this is the what they looked like after the big snow. This morning the sun is streaming in and most of the snow we got 2 weeks ago is gone. Tomorrow is March 1st with spring just around the corner...…..I hope !!!

Watch out
I love watching the giant cruiseships enter Nassau harbor. This morning, thanks to the camera angle, it looked like this ship was going to hit the rocks.

Crab fishing off Westport
This picture was taken on the same evening as the previous sunset picture. My youngest son is on the left and he is on my middle son's boat. All in the family at our house 🤗

Old St. Nicks
We have had tons of snow this week and I took this picture from my porch, between storms, of the old St. Nick Church.
