Big Boy Toys

I went for a walk yesterday along the water, in the wonderful sunshine we had, and stood for a while on the dock, watching this fella work on his boat. I love the color as it's almost the same color Nick painted the Maria years ago. How he decided on that particular color is kind of a fun story. He was at Shilshole Marina for some reason and he spotted a fellow painting an incredible yacht this same color. He walked out and mentioned to the painter what a beautiful color he thought it was and what was the name of paint. Well, the boat belonged to one of the CEO's at Boeing and the painter told him the color blue to buy and how much black to add. Though she's had 2 different owners and two different names, Maria is still that wonderful blue.
