Growing like weeds

These three are growing like weeds...As you can see, Jacob managed to pull the two little ones together for a quick picture. He is 7 and such a neat kid.

Henderson Bay bulkhead

It's been a long time since I took a walk down the beach where I grew up. There are so many new homes and so many different bulkheads, but......this one was there when we were kids and the road to Rosedale sat above it. We used to walk along the safe part, but once we got to the slippery part, we had to get down and go around..it was that or slip and break our heads :o)

Rabbits

I have never seen so many rabbits....this guy was having dinner in my backyard and his meal was more important than worrying about me being any kind of danger....I went about my business and he just kept chewing.

Babich house

It was an amazing experience, to visit the place where my husbands father grew up, It was a little town along the shore on the island of Brac, called Sumartin. The homes are all built of stone and threre is no shortage of building material :o) There is still family living in the home and though they are not wealthy by any means, they look healthy and happy. Maybe it's thanks to the huge garden they have on the lot across the narrow street from the home.

I love checking out the commercial fleet as I walk through the harbor. Without a doubt, we do live in a beautiful place....

Hint of spring

The weather is slowly inching its way toward spring and as I took an afternoon walk a couple days ago, this fellow set off with his dog on his paddleboard. It sure made me want to invest in one of those silly toys :o)

Green Hair...Why???

There was a family looking at the house across the street the other day, in fact, it was the second time they looked, and both times the little girl had green hair. A couple days later, a home inspector climbed and crawled throughout the place, so who knows, maybe there will be lights at night again.

High tide

It's high tide time of year again and it's a good thing it hasn't been windy.

Frisco

What I wouldn't give to be back on the Norwegian Jewel. From my iPad and from the comfort of my home, I saw it pull into Puerto Vallarta this morning in the warm sunshine. When we were in San Francisco, it was a beautiful day, but with a wind sooo cold that it blew right through us as we walked along the wharf.
