It was an amazing experience, to visit the place where my husbands father grew up, It was a little town along the shore on the island of Brac, called Sumartin. The homes are all built of stone and threre is no shortage of building material :o) There is still family living in the home and though they are not wealthy by any means, they look healthy and happy. Maybe it's thanks to the huge garden they have on the lot across the narrow street from the home.
