We had a fun concert this morning, at one of the retirement homes in Tacoma. They really enjoyed our racket and, for coming over and playing our hearts out, they served us a delicious lunch. We were to sit at a place at any table where there was a "guest" sign so that way we could visit with the folks who live there. Jean, one of our trumpet players, and I sat together at one of the tables with "George", and don't ya know...George gets up too late and doesn't leave his room until lunchtime so missed our fantastic music. Well...we told George to be on guard, because next time we come to play..we are gonna wake him and haul his lazy a$$ down to the concert. I think he enjoyed his lunch today and who wouldn't enjoy being around two crazy old women.
