I have been following Abby as she makes her way around the world, sailing alone, on the good ship Wild Eyes. Her last post was halfway across the Indian Ocean, headed east toward Australia. I heard today on the news that her EPIRB has been beeping and in her last post she was to get 60 knot winds with 20 to 25 foot seas. I was relieved to see that she was in contact with someone and that she is still afloat. Hopefully right side up. Good grief...if I were here parents, I'd be soooo old by now.
