Blessing of the fleet 2010

After an incredibly sunny day yesterday for the street parade, today's skies are filled with rain clouds and those streets are being washed clean. At two this afternoon will be the Blessing of the Fleet and hopefully the weather will have improved by then because no one wants to picnic in the rain.

Something altogether different. I have often said that if a person wants the college experience, be sure and learn a trade. Be it teaching, nursing, doctoring, you name it, don't take out student loans on a degree that doesn't teach you a defininate job skill. I so support schools like Clover Park Vocational School, that teach students the skills that keep american running. It almost borders on theft to see some of the classes that colleges offer students and force them to take in order to finish their degree.

If you have time and two good eyes, this bit on home ownership is interesting.

And here's food for thought! I must say...I like it !!!

Today is the 66th anniversary of D-Day. This video was very touching.

Saving the best for last !!!!!!
